I used to be a technician in biomedical research, working for a company that has been trying to develop a treatment for or vaccination against The Bug since it was discovered. I'm the unfortunate result you get if you're exposed to both our latest attempt at a countervirus and the most virulent present strain of The Bug currently in the States. Suffice to say, I was immediately quarantined as soon as Bug symptoms appeared and that line of research was promptly abandoned.
I understood the danger I presented to others and never fought the quarantine. In particular, I was concerned for the safety of my wife and our unborn child. Now that my quarantine has ended I can come home and care for my growing family. I just hope that my wife will still love me, even though I'm now a young canitaur girl.
