I love this house. I grew up in this house and inherited it when my parents died. So when I got injured and couldn't walk stairs, I felt devastated. I decided that I could either sell the house, install chair lifts, or use the new prosthetics that my health insurance was offering.
It turns out the surgery for the prosthetic was a bit more encompassing than I thought it'd be. And I didn't get to choose the model. In order to avoid tissue rejection, they needed drastic gene restructuring. So now instead of being a middle-aged invalid man, I'm a very mobile female cyborg centaur.
