A little under a year ago I contracted the Were-Woman "curse" and a week ago was finally declared non-contagious. My spouse and family still don't know the truth about my "illness" though so every month now when I "go girl," I hide out at my best friend Milo's flat.
To pass the time, we resumed a tradition we'd developed together in highschool: we'd play competitive Xbox or Gamecube videogames and bet on the outcome.
Milo suggested he'd wager his sports car for the month if I won and I bet my "girl-virginity" if he won. He looked at me like I was crazy but I reassured him. It's not like my female body is really my body. It isn't really me so I don't really care.
Man, I've never seen him play with such conviction! As his victory became clearer, my confident apathy diminished: my curse is still incurable; this is now my body too…
