Corporations will grow ever larger and gain more power forever until our there is some massive societal change. But I know this change won't likely happen in my lifetime so I "sold out" with eyes wide open.
I'm now employed as a model for a swimsuit manufacturer. But I was a guy before they hired me and I'm pretty obviously not now. Why would they have hired me?
They hired me because I was among the few applicants willing to swap away limbs. (Apparently limbs distract from showing off their suits and a sex swap is cheaper than finding a woman as broke as me and willing to swap with an amputee.)
To round out their catalog I also got a race swap. I'm loving my life as a rich Asian quad amputee!
