Because I gained several other traits from the poor axolotl, there was some speculation that I might have gained a few more less visible traits as well. I would have been willing to sacrifice a pinky or toe to experimentation, but apparently a large pharmaceutical company decided on a different route and hired an agent to infiltrate the "dating" queue the aquarium moderated. Before I or the staff could stop him he attacked my limbs, damaging all 4 and leaving me floundering in the water.
The good news? I didn't bleed out. The bad? If I inherited an ability for regeneration, it's happening too slowly to notice so far. Perhaps if the bastard hadn't hacked off all of my limbs, we'd see more significant healing. Hopefully my arms and legs grow back because not only will my underwater dexterity return, but we'll be able to sell off access to my body for medical advancement!
