When I first enlisted, I thought I'd be assigned a domestic posting and see little action due to my diminutive and unimpressive size (for a modern American man.) But reportedly, my genetic profiling (performed routinely during initiation) revealed particular promise for the new Developed Division. I was obviously excited to gain "powers" (and maybe gain a more imposing masculine figure) so I signed on for the Legacy treatment without hesitation.
And I don't regret that decision per say, but at times I wonder what my life could have been. Would I have found a girlfriend or wife if the Legacy program hadn't changed my body and sex completely? *Sigh* …Maybe I wouldn't be asking "What if?" so much if I could have just gotten cooler powers. (…I shouldn't complain: I now have faster reflexes, long leaps, and underwater breathing.) But did they have to assign me the moniker "Green Ouille?"
