Roger and Marcel had a blast playing with the Morphic Adaptation Unit they found in the creek through their housing development. They took turns trying to design fitter and more attractive bodies for themselves.
It was Marcel's turn but when he approached the MAU, Roger was hunched over the panel designing his next form. He stepped aside for Marcel to take his turn.
Marcel saw a good start on the panel and just modified the face to more closely resemble his own natural appearance. When the unit stopped working and collapsed to the briefcase size, neither friend felt devastated; they both had amazing bodies.
But over time, Marcel discovered there was something left over from Roger's design he'd revised: For some reason, Roger had made it so that every time this body got stressed, it'd transform into it's female equivalent over the course of a day. At first this just stressed Marcel even more and he spent most of his time as a super fit woman. Over time, he gained control over the change and found it preferrable to relax in his more curvy form.
