Today is Friday - the end of the first week of the school year. Swap Class is the last hour of my class schedule so I came straight home after the incredibly nerve-wracking body swap that ended the week of orientation.
I was surprised when I drew Meghan's name and we were told we were going to have to swap for the rest of the year. Meghan is the shy girl in a lot of my classes. Quiet but friendly. When we were paired, she sighed in relief, nodded to me, and stood to join me at the swap booths.
We've been instructed to respect our new bodies and embrace any changes we observe. I plan on keeping a journal for my year as Meghan so the term paper will be easier to compose.
When I got home I called my close friends on Zoom to let them know who I was going to be for the year so we could get any teasing without a larger audience. They were unexpectedly supportive and kind.
I don't plan on violating the trust Meghan showed me, but I also need to familiarize myself with my temporary form. Perhaps I can even return her body in better condition... Therefore after the Zoom meeting, I stripped down to acquaint myself with my body.
Wait - did I forget to log out of our Zoom meeting?
