Matt's "gang of guys" decided they needed some token eye candy for their annual 3 day weekend boating getaway and so Matthew became "Bethany" for the weekend courtesy of the Morphic Adaptation Unit Nate discovered hiking, and Matthew literally drawing the short straw.
Matthew was a pretty good sport so he didn't complain too loudly when everyone else had a say in Bethany's build, hair color, fashion style, and sexual preference. He made sure to add a dozen additional attributes like increased strength, flexiblity, intelligence, and bisexual preference.
Bethany would find some consolation in these advantages after they returned from the wild weekend to find the MAU permanently inactive.
