There are several species of frog and fish that are known to spontaneously change sex to maintain a ratio beneficial to said species. But Kevin is the first person to discover a reclusive mollusk off the Australian coast that has this sexual plasticity and that releases a hormone that affects humans in a similar - but much more rapid - manner. By the time Kevin swam back to the shore from his historically significant snorkeling adventure, her hips had grown so wide that her swim trunks had to be ditched.
Once she found the mollusk again and could replicate the effects with a dubious (but willing) trans friend, she'd be famous for a fantastic scientific discovery. Until then though, Kevin would just look like a poor woman that lost her mind at sea.
