Something malfunctioned at the Swap Clinic last summer. I'd gone in to sell my (recently unused) welding skill for extra cash. I sat in one booth and waited for the telltale tingle in my head that would indicate knowledge had been swapped. Instead a tingle rolled over my entire body and I tore myself out of the booth to find I looked like a young woman!
The 30 year old lad in the booth next to mine looked up at me, confused and disappointed. It was clear I hadn't received my new sex from him - he was male when he came into the clinic, same as me. He also apparently didn't receive my trade skill. Technicians assured us that they'd track down the bug and would contact us when they could correct the swaps. Until then, we would not be allowed to make any more swaps.
It turns I'm quite the exhibitionist as a girl! (Or perhaps this is another trait swapped to me.) I sought out all my guy friends and enjoyed convincing them of my identity while they convinced me that this mistake should be a dream for me. Now I don't think I want this problem fixed and it's been months without my swap partner coming forward so I don't think they do either.
